Dr. Chamarthy is board certified in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She treats adults and children of all ages. She completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey in 1991. She completed her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at University of South Florida/All Children’s Hospital in 1999.
Dr. Chamarthy is well respected in the community and she enjoys teaching residents, and medical students. She attends conferences annually to keep up to date with developments in the speciality and has published several abstracts and articles in the field of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Chamarthy served as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of South Florida/All Children’s Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL and worked at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa serving active duty and dependents from 1999 to 2005. Dr. Chamarthy served as the Chief of the Allergy Clinic at Bay Pines VA from 2005 to 2018 with great passion.
She is married and has two children. She enjoys cooking, reading and travel. She volunteers at local charities.
