Dr. Chamarthy is board certified in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She treats both adults and children of all ages. She completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey, in 1991. She completed her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida/All Children’s Hospital in 1999.

Dr. Chamarthy is well respected in the medical community. She enjoys teaching residents and medical students. She attends conferences regularly to stay up to date in her field. She has also published several abstracts and articles in Allergy and Immunology.

She served as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of South Florida/All Children’s Hospital and worked at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, serving active duty personnel and their families from 1999 to 2005. From 2005 to 2018, she served as Chief of the Allergy Clinic at Bay Pines VA.

She is married and has two children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling. She also volunteers at local charities.
