Dr. Chamarthyis board certified in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She treats both adults and children of all ages. She completed herInternship and Residency in Internal Medicineat the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey, in 1991. She completed herFellowship in Allergy and Immunologyat the University of South Florida/All Children’s Hospital in 1999.
Dr. Chamarthy is well respected in the medical community. She enjoysteaching residents and medical students. She attends conferences regularly to stay up to date in her field. She has also published several abstracts and articles in Allergy and Immunology.
She served asAssociate Professor of Pediatricsat University of South Florida/All Children’s Hospital and worked atMacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, serving active duty personnel and their families from 1999 to 2005. From 2005 to 2018, she served asChief of the Allergy Clinic at Bay Pines VA.
She is married and has two children. In her free time, she enjoyscooking, reading, and traveling. She also volunteers at local charities.
