Masks are required by nurses and providers providing direct patient care at Advanced Allergy and Asthma Care. Masks are optional for visitors. Even though many of our providers and staff members are fully vaccinated, we are following CDC guidance. As a larger portion of the population becomes vaccinated we all look forward to the day that we can reduce the current rules about mask wearing in the physicians office.
Dear Patients,
We are pleased to introduce telemedicine visits, as part of our ongoing efforts to provide our full range of patient care while COVID-19 is circulating. This will allow us to provide care to patients remotely, and those patients may not need to come into the office.
It is our hope that this will help ensure continuity of care for patients, and provide some convenience to families who are now fully at home due to school closures, work-from-home, and similar circumstances.
These visits are now available on a limited basis with Dr Sanka and Dr Chamarthy and Melissa Swertfeger, APRN from Monday-Friday by appointment only.

We have been treating adult and pediatric patients since 1999. You will only be treated by board certified and fellowship trained Allergy, Asthma, and Immunologists. Our offices are conveniently located in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough counties, including: Pinellas Park, New Port Richey, Dunedin, South Tampa, and Westchase open 5 days per week with early or late hours depending on the location.
For your convenience, our New Port Richey office is open the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, subject to change based on holidays.
Dr. Chamarthy, and Dr. Sanka treat adults and children of all ages for allergy, asthma and immunologic conditions. We are now accepting new patients.
When our patient told us about her daughter Avery and this walk to support her chronic illness, our Advanced Allergy team stepped up to support her! On October 26th, we joined many others in a 5K walk for Tuberous Sclerosis and “Avery’s Angels” at Lowry Park. Together we raised $250 to donate!
Step Forward to Cure TSC.
Our office is proud to announce we have adopted electronic health records. This change will help to make your health care more safe, efficient, and compliant with federal regulations. Soon, you will have access to an online patient portal to request appointments, results/records, and to speak with the doctor.
